Appointments
Emergency Appointment
From 8am to 10:30am Monday - Friday
These are 'same day' appointments for urgent medical problems that cannot wait.
Please call 02920 226057 before 10.30am to book. These appointments can fill up quickly- calls after 10.30am will be triaged by the duty doctor for urgency.
Depending on the nature of the problem, it may not always be possible to see you on the same day.
Please be aware that the doctor has asked the reception team to ask the reason for your call. This is to make sure you are booked in with the most appropriate clinician and to ensure that the most unwell or vulnerable patients are prioritised.
Please do not request an urgent same day appointment for on-going problems, sick notes or prescriptions. The receptionist will advise you of the best way to achieve what you need.
You may be directed to another health care professional: Dentist, Optician, Pharmacist etc.

Home visits
Whenever possible please try to ring between 8am and 10.30am on 02920 226057 to request a home visit. The receptionist will need to be told your symptoms so that urgent cases are seen first.
This service is at the discretion of the doctors and should only be requested if you are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery.
Children can usually be brought safely to the surgery. If there is a degree of urgency, please make this clear.
