The quickest way to book an appointment or enquire about a medical matter is to call the surgery.

However you can contact us for non-urgent medical queries or nursing appointments by e-mailing us on us on reception.w97061@wales.nhs.uk. 

Routine (non-urgent) Appointments:

From 10:30am everyday

Routine appointments are released for booking exactly 7 days in advance. If you prefer to see a particular doctor please ask the receptionist or check our website what days they work. Routine appointments are booked on a first come first served basis - but appointments are released every day. 

Emergency Appointments:

From 8am to 10:30 everyday

These are 'same day' appointments for urgent medical problems that cannot wait. Please call before 10.30am to book. These appointments can fill up quickly- calls after 10.30am will be triaged by the Duty Doctor for urgency.

Depending on the nature of the problem, it may not always be possible to see you on the same day. 

Please be aware that the Doctor has asked the reception team to ask the reason for your call. This is to make sure you are booked in with the most appropriate clinician and to ensure that the most unwell or vulnerable patients are prioritised. 

Please do not request an urgent same day appointment for on-going problems, sick notes or prescriptions. The receptionist will advise you of the best way to achieve what you need. 

You may be directed to another health care professional - Dentist, Optician, Pharmacist etc.

Please consider using the Choose Pharmacy or 111 NHS Direct Service.

Often you may feel that all you need is a quick word with someone on the telephone. Start by asking the receptionist. 

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
